VH1 Puts A Ring On "Single Ladies"



Love it or hate it, VH1's hit series, "Single Ladies" has been picked up for a second season. "Single Ladies" is the first hour-long scripted series for the network and stars; Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea as three besties looking for love in the right and wrong places.

The show has been a huge success for VH1, averaging 2.8 million viewers on Monday's after "Basketball Wives". This is what executive producer Queen Latifah had to say about the show getting a second season.


“My partner Shakim and I are so excited that ‘Single Ladies’ has been received so well. We knew from the beginning this show was going to appeal to people everywhere; it’s funny, sexy and smart. We are so happy that we were able to join with VH1 to find such a great home for this incredible show.”




This season of "Single Ladies" wraps up August 8th and production for season 2 will kick off this fall and air next year.
